SCORM stands for Sharable Content Object Reference Model. This is a collection of standards and specifications for web-based e-learning.
Do instructors need any knowledge of SCORM content authoring?
The OLE ha been designed to provide optimum performance for a variety of users. An instructor with no knowledge of SCORM parameters or an administrator can import third-party SCORM course modules with a click of a button. Intermediate and advanced SCORM content authors can also use OLE to create SCORM-compliant modules for the most advanced sequencing levels that some courses may require.
